Doctoral Program in World Cultural Heritage Studies

In response to the social and international appeals for the protection of the World Cultural Heritage, "World Cultural Heritage Studies" is aimed at training advanced researchers and specialists engaged in indentification, protection and preservation of heritage around the world with sophisticated expertise. "World Cultural Heritage Studies" was inaugurated in April 2006 as the first and only doctoral program in the world particularly relating to the studies of the world cultural heritage. It is organized according to the following sections; Conservation Philosophy, Policy and Administration in Heritage Conservation Science. Students of this doctoral program are expected to develop, widen, or deepen thier academic experience in the "World Heritage Studies," a two-year master's program in the Graduate School of Art and Design, or in other institutions of similar specialty and standard.
