八木 春生 （YAGI Haruo）

美術遺産

世界遺産学学位Ｐでは，主として「中国を中心とする仏教美術作品」に関する講義・演習を受け持っています。専門は美術史・東洋美術史で，博士（文学）を有しています。

中国を中心とする仏教美術作品が，いかなる目的で造られ，それをどのように見せようとしたかを明らかにすることで，それぞれの評価をおこなっています。

Art Heritage

Dr. Haruo Yagi is a researcher of ”Oriental Fine Art History”, and he has received Ph.D. from Seijo University, Tokyo. As an academic specialist of Art History and Oriental Art History, he’s enrolled with the lectures, practices and seminars on oriental fine art history, such as “Buddist Art Work” in China in our heritage studies degree program.

In his research field, each evaluation is conducted by clarifying how Buddhist art works, mainly Chinese, were created for what purpose and how they were shown.
